Tap 1


A 1-hour class to introduce basic tap steps and rhythms. Repetitions to strengthen and quicken tap technique. Centre exercises and combinations, turns, time-steps. Beginner and intermediate level (0-2 years of Tap).

 

Age:

7-up

Required Attire:

Girls:Any color leotard or SADA shirt (not oversized), Jazz pants or crop pants, black oxford tap shoes, hair secured in ponytail.

Boys: Any tee (not over sized) black jazz any or jogger, athletic short and black tap shoe


Tap 2


A 1-hour class to introduce basic tap steps and rhythms. Repetitions to strengthen and quicken tap technique. Centre exercises and combinations, turns, time-steps. Intermediate level.

9-up

Tap 3


A 1-hour class building technique, stamina and “Rhythm Tap” choreography. Time-steps, wings, pull backs, turns. Working towards the Advanced level, this class will emphasize speed and attention to the clarity of sounds. Body percussion may be incorporated.
